Getting Older · 慢慢变老
Once I was lonely and looked in the mirror.
当我感到孤独的时候，我看着镜子里的自己
And to my surprise a grey hair appeared.
让我惊讶的是，我有一根白头发！
I pondered this mystery; I’m aging I feared
我惊恐的是，我正在变老
Wondering why is it, it has appeared?
为什么会这样呢？
People are aging and so too am I
人们在变老，而，我也是
Getting old is a fact I thought with a sigh
我叹着气：变老是一个事实
This actuality is something I tried hard to accept
我努力试着接受
But my hair is now ruined as I sat there and wept
但是，我坐着，梳着头，头发就缓缓掉落
Picking out the grey or plucking it down
挑出那些白头发，我一根根拔下来
Effective when I find the black hair is covering around
另一个有效的方法是，我用黑头发把它们盖住
Shearing or cutting is another good solution
剪掉当然也是一个好方法
It will be a new life after I apply the ablution
我轻松地洗个澡，就开始了新生活
Wearing a hat might hide my new vex
戴上漂亮的帽子似乎就掩盖了我的烦恼
But daily life changes like this are complex
但是，生活千变万化，错综复杂
Dying it for the next year is more simple
把白发染黑就让新的一年变得简单又快捷
It’s more fashionable I think than wearing a wimple!
比带上温铂尔头巾更时尚呢！
Mom’s calling came now from out in the kitchen
妈妈的呼唤从厨房传来
“Catherine, it is time for doing things in our garden!”
凯瑟琳，我们该去小花园劳作了！
I decided to stop thinking of this serious problem
于是，我停止了思考这个严肃的问题
For I’m just now sixteen and I am still in full blossom
因为我才十六岁，我还充满生机

高二了，看着高三的师兄师姐们在一封封收获offer，想着自己，带着希望与忐忑走上征途，思绪复杂，但现在到了自己，走在了人生道路上一个小小的关键时刻，朝着一个方向、一个目标暗暗努力，未来充满可能！
